Rio de Janeiro City Lab with Fernanda Eugenio and Gustavo Ciríaco

Sesc Rio hosts this month a City Lab oriented by artists Fernanda Eugenio & Gustavo Ciríaco. The Rio de Janeiro edition of the Project Site-Specific Practices invite untill 25 local artists to explore a toolbox coming from ethnography and contextual art. During two weeks, the group are going to map the vibrant and legendary Copacabana - from the "Princess of the Sea" touristic image to the increasing elder and retired population; from the subterrains of the diverse marginalized lives that inhabit the sidewalks to the compact crowd of pedestrians that move through the noisy streets drawing an always-in-change surface coreography that mix together bodies, cars, buses, buildings, pigeons and dogs.
